Nadia Oye is a 200-hour holistic hatha yoga teacher based in Oakland. Her purpose as a yoga teacher is to offer accessible ways to help others tend to mental illnesses and honor their bodies through movement and meditation. She leads you through gentle postures and simple strategies to release tension in the body, enhance body awareness and improve your overall mood. Nadia offers compassionate sequences for all bodies and breathing practices to settle the body + mind.
Meditation and movement has helped Nadia manage debilitating depression and anxiety for several years. As a mental health advocate, she offers yoga practices to inspire others to begin their own journey of healing and self-exploration as a way to practice radical self-love and self-compassion.
