Isabella Joan Wilk received her training with Katie Lewis and Ashley Sharp, two respected and long-standing teachers in the Bay Area with a strong focus on the mind and body working together. She has also completed extended training in Yin Yoga with Cherie Carson, Forrest Yoga with Anna Forrest, Pre & Postnatal Yoga with Debra Saliby, and TRE Trauma Release Exercise Workshops. Isabella has taught conditioning classes that included Pilates exercises. She also developed a Dance Your Passion class offering that uses dance as a way to embodiment. She creates a dance space that invites the heart and chakras to open while the soul expresses itself and sets intentions. The authenticity of movement and divine play created in Dance Your Passion carries over into our everyday lives with the added benefit of a cardio workout at each individual’s pace using lively music. Isabella is enthusiastic about practicing how the body and mind work together to heal. She loves bringing this enthusiasm to her students. Isabella has a spiritual practice developed from attending daylong retreats at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. She uses the teachings of mindfulness to inform her yoga practice and weaves them into her classes.

Giselle Moreno - My love for acupuncture began after my first treatment at the Berkeley Acupuncture Project in 2014. Experiencing the healing magic of acupuncture ignited a spark in me that continued to grow until I enrolled in the four-year Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine program at ACCHS in Oakland in 2019. Discovering Chinese medicine allowed me to connect the dots and articulate how I had always perceived the world and its relationships. The connections between our bodies, spirits, emotions, and nature’s seasonal shifts are all integral to this beautiful medicine. My goal in every treatment is to help remind your body of its innate, balanced state of harmony. You can work with me at the San Francisco Community Clinic in the Mission, both in a community clinic or one on one, private treatment setting. I also have a private practice in Oakland & East Bay. When I’m not in the clinic, you can find me on adventures with my pup Rue, chasing hot springs, dancing to live music, and spending time with friends and family.

Orly Politi - Journeying through the complexities of healing as a human has inspired a fondness within me for the spaces between. The subtlety of dancing the line between pain and discomfort, choosing to exist in a space that occupies both light and dark, and finding a rhythmic within the surrounding chaos- all have inspired my decision to practice Chinese medicine. I am drawn to the way a needle simultaneously converses with both our physical and energetic bodies, a welcome reminder of how one is inherently aected by the other. Imbued with the intention of re-introducing harmony and balance to mind, body, and spirit, I find joy assisting others traverse their spaces between, while promoting healing from within. Along with my ongoing private practice, I have over ten years of yoga teaching experience that helps inform my work. I’ve also recently transitioned into the role of co-owner of Alameda Community Acupuncture. We are just a few doors down! Come by and say hi and experience treatment and healing in community.
