Our speaker for April is City of Alameda's Captain Matthew McMullen.
Matt has worked in various assignments; from being on the SWAT team for a decade, to working in the Violent Crimes Unit, before transitioning to the administrative side of policing. While there, he worked in the Personnel and Training Unit, before being promoted to lieutenant, where he worked in every assignment within the Alameda Police Department at that rank.
Currently, Matt serves as the Operations Captain. Matt holds a BS in Criminal Justice Management and an MS in Organizational Leadership.
