Join us at Praxis Gallery for an evening of photography, conversation, and community.

Pauline Kruger Hamilton: The End of an Era presents the rediscovered work of a Minneapolis portrait painter who left her studio to begin a second career in Vienna, where she became one of the most sought-after photographers in Europe before her early death in 1918.

The evening begins with an artist talk at 5 PM by author Jim Gerlich, offering insight into Hamilton’s life, work, and historical context. The talk is followed by an opening reception from 6–8 PM, with a book signing, light refreshments, and an opportunity to meet and engage with others.

All are welcome.
