Patrick Flanaghan and John Reid in ConcertJoin us for an evening of exceptional music with Patrick Flanaghan, Principal Cor Anglais of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, in concert with John Reid, Principal Pianist of the Aurora Orchestra, at Salisbury Cathedral School.
Patrick began his musical life as a chorister at Salisbury Cathedral and went on to study at The Purcell School and the Royal Academy of Music, where he is now Professor of Cor Anglais. He appears regularly as a soloist and orchestral musician with leading ensembles in the UK and Germany.
John Reid is an internationally respected pianist and chamber musician. He, like Patrick, started as a chorister at Salisbury Cathedral where he later held the position of Organ Scholar. John now enjoys an acclaimed career as a concert pianist and teacher. He is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, and his performances have taken him across the UK and Europe.
This concert offers a rare opportunity to hear two of the UK’s leading musicians in an intimate setting.
