Pat Sharp
Pat presented his first daytime show for BBC Radio 1 at just twenty years of age back in 1982. Following a year on air, plus numerous ‘Top of the Pops’ appearances, he then went on to host mid mornings at 95.8 Capital FM London. Along the way he picked up a gold Sony award whilst also notching up 5 hit singles!
On TV Pat hosted the iconic ITV show FunHouse for a decade along with other ITV shows including the Saturday morning spectacular What’s Up Doc & The Gala Opening of Euro Disney.
He was also the pioneer host of Sky Channel’s first pop video shows (Skytrax) shown across Europe in 28 countries via satellite throughout the 80s
He won The Weakest Link raising £13K for charity and appeared once again more recently as a contestant on the revamped version. Some other recent TV credits include Come Dine With Me, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Ready Steady Cook, The Wheel, Eggheads, Pointless Celebrities, Coach Trip, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Through the Keyhole & Mastermind. Pat also appears regularly on Universal’s music channels Now 80s & 90s as their presenter.
