About this Event
Hello! I’m Angelica, I’m a pasta chef born in Parma, currently living in London.
I studied Food Systems Management and later expanded my passion for food, working across restaurants around London, and making lots of fresh pasta daily. I am currently exploring pasta’s heritage and its cultural role while spending lots of time in the kitchen testing out new and old recipes.
The main idea is to share my abilities teaching people how to make fresh pasta and pasta shapes from all over Italy. I approach my cooking using simple yet high-quality ingredients.
My favourite dishes include filled ravioli, hand-made orecchiette, sourdough focaccia, and tiramisù.
I’m working towards raising awareness around the communal aspect of food making, which nourishes our soul and ultimately helps us to connect with other people.
Workshops details:
During a two-hour class, you will make your fresh pasta.
It is going to be a dough exploration: you will explore different shapes with a focus on southern Italian shapes like orecchiette or busiate, using just your hands or the tools I will provide during the class.
Making pasta is also about having fun and engaging with other people, so you will have the chance to socialise around the table while prepping your dose of carbs.
At the end, you will take home your fresh pasta and I will give you instructions on how to cook it and season it.
