About this Event
Discover Long Island's State Parks in our returning monthly hiking series through every park on the Island! Each park will feature challenging and accessible hikes each month! Hikes for the month of April take place at Trail View State Park. This hike will be challenging! The trail we will hike on is hilly, we will have to hike up steps and inclines in spots. Expect to hike 3-4 miles. We may end after 12pm.
Trail View is a 400-acre, 7.4-mile linear park that serves as a link along the Nassau/Suffolk Greenbelt Trail that extends from Cold Spring Harbor State Park on the north shore of Suffolk County to Bethpage State Park, and eventually to the south shore of Nassau County.
New participants will receive a passport booklet. Earn a sticker at each state park's passport hike. Present 5 stickers for a free hat, and earn 10 stickers to be entered into a raffle for a chance to win FREE admission to our 2027 Environmental Education programs!
(One sticker to be earned at each state park)
