Passenger 10-Year / Passenger Radio 1-Year Celebration![HAMTRAMCK, MICHIGAN 24.FEBRUARY 2026] We have a couple anniversaries to celebrate! Passenger Recovery is turning 10 years old, and Passenger Radio WHCK is celebrating one amazing year as a Community Radio Station!
Join us on Saturday, March 21st from 2pm - 8pm at our new, PRCC expansion 2nd floor location as we celebrate our time serving the vibrant community of Hamtramck and Detroit.
We’re excited to launch our in-person fundraising auction featuring donated music memoriable items of Lol Tolhurst, Patti Smith, The Sword, Gary Numan, Andrew W.K., Flogging Molly, various releases on Third Man Records, just to name a few, and signature releases from Detroit’s Electronic Music Industry heads, along with “Hamtramck” rarities. Also we’ll have an opening of a new art exhibition featuring local, known Detroit artists original works, prints and more available for purchase at our newly opened Christopher Street Gallery on the ground floor at our new Passenger Recovery Community Center location, also DJs will be broadcasting live all-day, free food, raffle, giveaways, and more… We’ll also be launching a special online auction leading up to the event.
Passenger is a recovery support system based in Detroit, MI. Our ambition is to make free resources more accessible to our local community and those on tour, and to use music as a connection and a pathway to recovery. Support for artists, touring musicians and our local community. Where we use Music & the Arts as a pathway to recovery.
Passenger Radio WHCK of Hamtramck, a radio project that strives to serve the diverse populations of Hamtramck through programming that provides cultural representation.
