Celebrate the warmth, colour, and spirit of a true Filipino Christmas — right in the heart of Auckland! Join us as we transform Ellen Melville Centre and Freyberg Place into a vibrant Filipino Christmas Village, filled with music, food, storytelling, and creativity for the whole whānau.

✨ Hapag – The Shared Table
A curated Simbang Gabi-inspired outdoor food lane serving beloved Filipino holiday treats like bibingka, puto bumbong, lechon, and more.
🎶 Himig – The Sound of Christmas
Wander through the event space accompanied by traditional carols and choral pop-ups, celebrating the soundscape of a Filipino Christmas.
🛍️ Handog – The Gift of Creativity
Explore our indoor boutique-style market at Pioneer Women’s Hall, featuring high-quality non-food stalls — from handmade gifts to artisan crafts.
☁️ Hiraya – Hopes and Dreams
Write a wish, or reflect under our Christmas Tree of Hopes. This is a space for remembering what matters most.
👧🏽 Pasko Para sa Mga Bata – The Little Christmas Corner
A creative space for kids to design ornaments, make Christmas cards, and enjoy Filipino stories in our cozy reading nook.

In the weeks leading up to the event, join us at Central Library for bilingual Filipino storytelling sessions — open to all ages!
