About this Event
"Transform Conflict into Connection" is a 3-part series (TURNED into Two - due to scheduling) virtual training that aims to provide strategies and tools to parents/guardians and their teens to overcome conflicts and strengthen family so you can have sustainable heart-centered connection.
If you missed the first part of the series, no worries. We will summarize the learnings for you at the beginning of the next part.
Objectives for these workshops:
- to develop an awareness of the architecture of conflict
- to understand your relationship to conflict and how this impacts your relationships
- to empower you to experience productive conflict thus deepening your connections
- to provide you with tools for navigating conflict at home and beyond
This interactive training will cover various topics, including Avoiding the Conflict Trap, Moving from Blame to Curiosity, and Navigating Difficult Conversations. As a result parents/guardians and their teens will walk away with skills, strategies, and resources to walk through their conflicts and develop healthier connected relationships.
In addition to creating a safe space for all, your facilitators, Shannon Evans, Jodi Lewis, and Misha Safran, will support you to maneuver through these challenging topics with empathy and levity. Bios below.
Who is this for? Parents/guardians and their teens who want to move from conflict to connection through healthier communication resulting in fewer power struggles, and increased trust.
Parents/guardians and their teens are welcome to attend either together or apart. If a teen would like to attend without their parent(s) or guardian(s), we will need a signed waiver by the parent or guardian. Please send us an email to arrange for this: [email protected]
Each session will be 3-hours. We will meet on the Sunday, October 13. You can choose to attend the entire series or a choice of one or more Sundays.
ALL DONATIONS, after expenses paid, WILL BE GIVEN TO THE CENTER FOR UNDERSTANDING IN CONFLICT TO SUPPORT THEIR TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAMS.
Thank you! We look forward to empowering deeper connection between you and your loved ones.
