What is a Parol?
Parol is an ornament displayed during Christmas time that can be dated back to Spanish colonial rule.
Parols are paper lanterns and are traditionally constructed using bamboo and Japanese paper, and are illuminated with candles, oil lamps, or carbide lamps. Modern parols can be made using other materials such as plastic, metal, and capiz shells and are usually illuminated with electric lighting.
In order to secure enough kits for everybody, please make sure to RSVP by texting Miles Guardiano at (720) 998-4713 by November 16!
