Be sure to share this event and invite everyone!We are coming together to respectfully ask our elected representatives to listen to the people of Perth and reconsider the proposed location of the ferry terminal at Matilda Bay to 1 km south at JoJo - Nedlands Jetty.
We have deliberately chosen this time as the politicians we are seeking to engage have a dedicated lunch period between 1–2pm. This provides a clear opportunity for them to step out, face the community, and hear directly from those who are asking for reconsideration.
Our petition numbers will be formally tabled in Parliament at 9am, marking an important milestone for this movement.
We really need all our numbers and strength at 1pm. If you are available earlier, please also consider joining our volunteers, club members and community representatives at 9am as we want the Public gallery inside filled.
This is a call for accountability and evidence-based decision making. Let's stand together to advocate for public transport and balanced planning solutions. Your presence matters to make it clear that we are united and community matters.
