Join Estates Manager Michael Charlton on a guided tractor trailer tour exploring the park’s remarkable transformation from a working quarry to a thriving Country Park and Nature Reserve. This relaxed one-hour tour offers visitors a chance to delve into the park’s more recent history and gain insight into the restoration efforts underway.
Highlights include a stop at the newly planted Queen’s Wood and a behind-the-scenes look at plans to restore historic wood pasture and parkland across the Estate. Learn how conservation and heritage go hand-in-hand in shaping the future of this special landscape.

- The tour will take place on a pedestrian tractor trailer with bench seating.
- Suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied.
- Limited spaces available – early booking recommended.
From the B1000 look for the White lodge building and Tarmac signs. http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=529266&Y=213486&A... Enter through the metal gate and follow the track along until there is a right fork with signs to ‘Area Office’. Continue along this track until you reach a car park. Do not use the Thieves Lane Carpark.
