Tara Fatehi will be on residency at Transmission gallery in Feb 2026. Presenting her performance practice of multilingual, multivocal performance alongside material developed with her workshop participants they will bring to life voices from various realms and genres.
The evening will include a performance of the work Tara has been developing during her residency followed by a relaxed conversation around the project.

ARTIST
Tara Fatehi (Tehran, 1987) is a performance, voice, dance, and text artist based in London. Politically charged and stuck with everyday banality, her works explore multivocality, unfinishedness, ambiguity, and playfulness. Recent stages include Southbank Centre, V&A Museum, Nottdance, Montpellier Danse, ICA, Centquatre-Paris, Oslo Dansens Hus. She is the co-founder of From the Lips to the Moon music and poetry shows, author of Mishandled Archive a series of 365 public interventions (LADA, 2020), and vocalist of People of the Wind (Akazib, 2025). She was the first-ever resident artist at the United Nations Archives in Geneva (2021). She has taught at various universities including Goldsmiths, Roehampton, Kings College, Centra School of Speech and Drama.
TRANSMISSION GALLERY
Operating in multiple capacities, Transmission works with artists in the production of exhibitions, events, exchanges, residencies and publications. It also shares various resources with its membership in order to facilitate activities outside of its own programming. As the longest standing artist-run space in Glasgow, it houses an archive of materials connected to the activities of the gallery and its membership, whilst remaining active a present-day social hub.
