Join Gail Boyajian, internationally recognized artist, during four consecutive half-day sessions, March 31 - April 3, in this special Papier Mache workshop. The focus will be on shorebirds and seabirds.Participants will make a life-sized (up to 10") bird of their choice using papier mache made from newspaper, paper bags, or other materials that will be provided. Color and markings can be done with paint, paper, or pencil. Participants will have an opportunity to share what they learn or know about the bird that they choose.
Gail Boyajian is an artist and architect who has exhibited her papier-mache birds regionally and her paintings internationally. Studying ecosystems and the interconnected life forms within them, along with the environmental challenges they face, informs all her projects.
