Sunday, March 8, 2026
Doors at 4 p.m. | Music at 4:30 p.m.
Based in Bloomington, Pangaea Sky is a genre-blending world music quartet known for tight interplay, deep grooves, and a wide sonic range. For this house concert, expect an intimate, close-up experience where subtle textures and spontaneous moments take center stage.
Tom Clark (saxophones, flutes, keys, electronics), Peter Kienle (guitars, guitar synth), Julian Douglas (percussion), and Ron Kadish (bass, electronics) combine earthy wind sounds, layered guitar tones, grounded bass lines, and rhythm-driven percussion into music that feels both rooted and exploratory. Their chemistry is immediate and unforced — the kind that comes from listening closely to one another.
Rhythms. Good vibes. An all-around positive music and world vibe.
In a living-room setting, their sound breathes — shifting from meditative and spacious to rhythmically charged, always inviting connection. It’s global in influence, modern in approach, and best experienced up close.
