About this Event
Housing policy is being decided right now. The question is: are you in the room?
Pancakes & Politics is a moderated morning roundtable that brings Houston elected officials, housing advocates, and real estate professionals together for a direct, policy-focused conversation about what it will take to close the Black homeownership gap in Houston.
This is not a panel. This is a roundtable -- a conversation where every voice in the room matters and where the goal is alignment between political influence and real estate production.
TOPICS ON THE TABLE
- The state of Black homeownership in Houston
- Affordable housing supply, zoning, and policy barriers
- Down payment assistance programs and access to capital
- The role of elected officials in expanding housing opportunity
- What the real estate community needs from city and county leadership
FEATURED VOICES (INVITED)
- CM Tiffany D. Thomas
- U.S. Rep. Christian Menefee (TX-18)
- Annise Parker
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
- Realtists, brokers, and agents engaged in housing advocacy
- Community leaders and nonprofit housing partners
