Holy Week begins here.
Palm Sunday marks Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem—but it also begins the journey that leads to the cross and the resurrection. In many ways, Easter cannot truly be experienced without walking through Holy Week, and Palm Sunday is the doorway.
We begin outdoors with the Liturgy of the Palms, remembering the crowds who welcomed Jesus with branches and shouts of “Hosanna!” Together we will bless the palms and process into the church, recalling that first joyful procession into Jerusalem.
Once inside, the tone shifts as we hear the Passion Gospel, telling the story of Jesus’ suffering and sacrifice. Palm Sunday holds both celebration and solemnity, preparing our hearts for the sacred days ahead.
This powerful and moving service invites us to walk with Christ—from triumph to sacrifice, and ultimately to resurrection.
