Good Friday is one of the most solemn and profound days of the Christian year, when we gather to remember the suffering and death of Jesus on the cross.
The liturgy of this day is simple, reverent, and deeply reflective. Through Scripture, prayer, silence, and the ancient practice of venerating the cross, we enter the story of Christ’s sacrifice and hold before God the needs of the world.
At St. Clement we offer three opportunities to observe Good Friday:
• 9:00 AM – Spoken Service
• 12:00 PM – Spoken Service
• 7:00 PM – Choral Service with the Parish Choir
Each service includes the reading of the Passion Gospel, the Solemn Collects, and the Veneration of the Cross, inviting us into prayer and contemplation.
Whether you come in the quiet of the morning, the stillness of midday, or the beauty of the evening liturgy with music, this sacred day invites us to pause, reflect, and stand at the foot of the cross.
