Join us for an open house inside the Palm House at Allan Gardens Conservatory - a stunning glasshouse filled with towering palms and tropical plants.
Recently restored, the Palm House is an architectural gem that is unique in Canada. Featuring tall glass ceilings, an open floor plan and an impressive backdrop. The Palm House was inspired by the 1870 Botanical Pavilion that once stood on the site before burning down in 1902. Before its destruction, the Botanical Pavilion was a vibrant cultural hub serving as a gathering space for Toronto’s high society from suffragettes, philanthropists, the orchestra and the artists of the times.
