About this Event

This event will take place in the Clydeside Hall at The Briggait. All ticket sales will be donated to .

Bringing together educational and creative aspects, this workshop encourages participants to think about how and why Palestine and Palestinian liberation are at the centre of every activist movement.

Together, we will discuss Palestine in relation to the following questions:

- What is radical community, and why is it important?

- How do we build radical community?

- How does (and has done historically) Palestine intersect with other stuggles, both materially and politically?

Participants will then map out the intersections of different movements to visualise connected struggles, resulting in an installation that reflects our shared experiences.

Through these activities, we hope to encourage participants to reflect on community, explore dense topics creatively, support the fight for collective liberation, and connect causes they are passionate about to the Palestine Liberation cause. We hope to continue connecting the pieces of thread to our board and open the discussion beyond our workshop for new contributions.

About the facilitators:

Lets Talk Palestine provides accessible, fact-based, and comprehensive education on all topics connected to the Palestinian struggle for liberation. We serve the global movement for the liberation of Palestine by not just educating, but empowering everyone to challenge false narratives and mobilize for meaningful change. As an educational media hub, we strive for our content to always be objective, but never neutral.
