Painting 🖼️ Daisy’s At Daisy’s With Victoria & Afternoon Tea !Saturday 30th August 1230 - 1530
Join us for an Afternoon of Creativity, Fun, great atmosphere and company.
This months theme is daisies which is so apt and had to be done for our namesake. These beautiful flowers will be painted using what’s called a Bokeh technique where the background is painted in a way to suggest that it’s not in focus.
We will be hosting a workshop for 12 wannabe Artists with “Victoria” where she will help you create your very own masterpiece and help bring out your artistic flare. This workshop is for complete beginners and Victoria will guide you through every step of the way.
All materials will be provided and you even get to take your piece of art home with you, where hopefully it will take pride of place on your mantelpiece where many will travel for miles to admire it 🫣🙏 but non the less, I can guarantee you will have a few giggles, and a perfect opportunity to unleash your inner artist.
At the beginning of the session you will sit with Victoria where she will guide you through the first step of creativity where she will show you how to prime your canvas and get the first stage of the painting started.
While this is drying we will serve you up one of our popular Afternoon Teas which will include unlimited tea or coffee (PLEASE NOTE - this will start from the time your Afternoon Tea gets brought out to you). If you don’t like tea or coffee we can supply you with 2 alternative standard soft drinks.
Our Afternoon Teas include a selection of sandwiches 🥪
sandwiches include :-
Cheese & Chutney on granary
Ham & Tomato on granary
Egg mayonnaise (homemade)on white
Tuna & sweetcorn (homemade)on white.
Our famous freshly baked homemade scone, served with Strawberry 🍓 jam & Roddas Clotted Cream. (Your stand for 2 person will normally include 1 fruit and 1 plain scone.)
A slice of Homemade Cake 🍰 normally Carl’s popular Victoria Sponge or we get you to choose a slice of cake from the counter.
Time of start will be 1230 - 1530 (but please bare in mind it could run over the time schedule).
We have 12 places for artists so please be quick if there are a few of you in your group.
Price is ÂŁ35 per person
This can be paid using a bank transfer or pop into our shop.
This is a first come first served event. If you’d like to be booked in, we can accept a £5 per person deposit initially, and full balance to be paid by 20th August please 🙏
