OPEN MIC at The PaintGroundSign up to perform or just join the crowd and enjoy. The 1st Wednesday Open Mics have been lucky enough to witness some of the best in area entertainment in a low-key, but fun and social environment.
$5 (suggested donation) Admission
Paint Rooms and play are available at special rates during this event. They have everything you'll need (including protective ponchos etc)
PERFORMERS:
For practical reasons, we ask that performers do not bring amplifiers or drum kits (hand drums OK). Electric instruments can plug directly into the PA. We have various plugs and wires on hand, but please bring your own instrument/aux cable just in case.
All styles encouraged. We are firm supporters of free expression, but we ask that you consider the audience and respect our environment with a "PG-13" level of lyrical content.
Please DO promote your upcoming gigs, releases, etc.
PaintGround:
The PaintGround is a unique, messy, and inclusive art studio offering creative experiences like black-lit splatter painting, drip art, and sensory play in private suites, where participants use neon paints and various tools (balloons, rollers) to create abstract art without worrying about cleanup. It's designed for all ages, from kids' sensory groups and birthday parties to date nights, focusing on the freedom of creative mess and expression rather than traditional fine art, with showers and blow-dryers available for cleanup.
This is an all ages event, but under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
