Paint a Landscape

Welcome to Paint a landscape! You are invited to Richard Meaghan's Studio on Sunday 17th August from 11-2pm for a fun-filled day of creativity and relaxation. Let your imagination run wild as you paint your own beautiful landscape masterpiece. No experience is necessary I will guide you every step of the way. Grab your paint brushes and get ready to unleash your inner artist! Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to unwind and express yourself through art.

All materials are provided. Cost is £40.

Arrive just before 11 to get comfy. We will be painting in oils so wear something you don't mind getting paint on. We will choose an image, either the Bonnard or Van Gogh painting and I will do a couple of demonstrations to show you how simple and straightforward the process is. Half way through we will have a 20 minute break for tea, cake and chat. I will guide you throughout the session.

If you have a son or daughter (16+) that you want to bring with you, maybe they are about to do their A levels and are thinking about art or just want something fun and different to do in the holidays then there is a discount available. Cost is £60 for the two.

Richard Meaghan is a contemporary painter who has exhibited nationally and internationally. He has won prizes for his work and his paintings are in many public and private collections.

Richard is also classically trained in the techniques and processes of the Old Masters.

Richard runs S'cube Art Club (pronounced Scooby). This is a Thursday evening (5-9pm) membership that do individual project based work, learn and exhibit together.

There is also S'cube~lite, a Tuesday evening (6.30-8.30pm) membership that are fun class led sessions learning about the old and the new.

Richard also runs workshops ranging from portrait and landscape sessions to mindfulness painting meditations as well as his monthy life class hub.

I will email you directly the day before our session to give you details of what to do when you arrive at the biscuit factory, how to get in, park up and head back to security.

Please arrive at least 15 mins before scheduled start.
