This Paediatric blended First Aid course provides comprehensive training on emergency care for infants and children, covering essential skills. The course is split into day 1 which is to be completed online and day 2 which is face to face. Please note, the online element must be completed prior to the face to face course.The course includes both theoretical knowledge and practical hands on training. Participants will learn to assess situations quickly and provide immediate care. This course is ideal for childcare providers, teachers, parents and anyone responsible for children's well being.
Course Content
· Dealing with an unresponsive child or infant
· CPR and use of AED
· Cardiac Arrest
· Bleeding
· Choking
· Shock
· Seizures & febrile convulsions
· Drowning
· Minor injuries
· Bites and stings
· Spinal injuries
· Dislocations and fractures
· Burns and scalds
· Head injuries
· Temperature related illnesses
· Asthma
· Anaphylactic shock
· Meningitis
· Croup
The course will start at 9am and finish at 4pm, with one hour of breaks throughout the day.
There is free parking at the venue.
