Pack Light is a band from Washington, DC, with origins and artistic influences from across the world. Brought together by our education at GWU, our group has evolved from classmates to a family of musicians. We strive to make the most of every performance, bringing a unique energy into every note, strum, and hit. You’ll want to sing, jump, and dance along to the beat of various vibes and rhythms. Whiskey Ginger
Whiskey Ginger is a five-piece indie rock outfit that’s bold yet unassuming, striking a balance between raw energy and effortlessly cool. Born in Boston and brought to life in Brooklyn, frontwoman Emily Pitcairn and the band fuse classic indie influences with folk, jazz, and rock, creating a sound that feels both fresh and familiar. Their debut EP, How to Say ‘No.’ (released 4/11/25), is a collection of songs that showcase their distinctive sonic identity.

Foot Traffic
Foot Traffic (DC/Baltimore) channels all of the ingredients of a jam band into pointed indie rock songs. They drape their grungy songwriting motives in their 2010s indie influences to create a fresh platform for honest songwriting and improvisation. In April 2024, the foursome released their EP Milkshakes? promptly followed by a music video for the opening track, "Ghost". The boys are currently performing around DC and Baltimore as they gear up for their next release.
