About this Event
The George Eastman Museum is the historical epicenter of photography in America and its collections and curators are a literal treasure trove for lovers of the medium. Through our unique partnership, PAC LA has the opportunity to bring our members to Upstate NY this spring as VIP guests.
After a welcome cocktail gathering the evening you arrive, our exclusive itinerary kicks off with two full days in Rochester co-curated with the Eastman team. Highlights include behind the scenes access to the center's photo study collection, conservation, rare books, the technology vault and private tours of Steichen in the Garden and the Eastman Mansion. You also enjoy exclusive visits to a private collection and the home and studio of Magnum photographer Gregory Halpern.
An additional day in Buffalo takes us to the renowned and recently expanded Buffalo AKC Museum to explore the photography collection and enjoy lunch in the ambiance of an Olafur Eliasson installation. A guided downtown walking tour of the city's fabled architecture caps off the trip.
A welcome reception, two dinners, and three lunches offer delectable tastes of Western New York’s farm to table cuisine. The entire trip will be coordinated and led by PAC LA's incredible travel leader, Clare Kunny, of Art Muse LA.

The trip fee includes a welcome cocktail, three lunches, two gourmet group dinners, transportation between all scheduled events, from Buffalo airport to Rochester and from Rochester to Buffalo, all admissions, a full time guide for the entire trip, as well as gratuities for all included services.
