About this Event
This session takes place weekly on Wednesdays, on Zoom, from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. for 6 weeks. Dates are January 29th, February 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, and March 5th.
The combined group concert will take place at the end of this winter session on March 9th at the Redbird Listening Room in New Braunfels. For those who can't attend the in-person concert, the OYOU will also host an online concert on March 10th.

Join our dynamic six-week writing workshop (songwriters, poets, writers) designed for individuals 20 and older, held weekly on Zoom. Participants will explore a variety of writing styles, composition techniques, and music theory through engaging prompts. At the conclusion of the workshop, everyone will showcase their creativity in a performance, presenting one original piece developed during the sessions. Now in its fifth year, this vibrant community of artists from diverse genres and backgrounds has fostered lasting connections and a supportive environment for all writers.
The online Zoom link will be sent a few days before we launch our winter session. The first prompt and lead sheet will be sent on 1/20/25.
