Supporting your cooperative by taking a leadership role on the Board of Directors is an exciting and daunting challenge! Board members must learn to work together, to understand their special role in the business, and to make effective decisions even in times of crisis.

Local cooperative expert Annelies Lottmann, Director of the Texas Rural Cooperative Center, will instruct the class of the duties and job of any Board of Directors and provide real-life examples of great boards in action.

Take-aways will include

the elements of great Board meetings
how to set up and stick to an annual Board calendar
navigating disagreements, and creating a strong system for accountability
