Over The Hump Open Decks is more than just open decks, it is a space for connection, collaboration, and shared learning with the Cleveland DJ community.Whether you’re just interested in learning about DJing and looking to get started, taking your first steps behind the decks, refining your craft, or looking to meet other like-minded individuals who are passionate about music, everyone is welcomed to learn from one another in this inclusive space. Our volunteer mentors are available throughout the night to offer guidance, answer questions, and help you to explore the club equipment and the creative elements offered by the Pioneer V10 and CDJs.
Attendees are welcomed to bring their own laptops and equipment for hands-on assistance with Rekordbox/Serato, music organization, tutorials, etc. Each month will also feature a DJ guest speaker from the Cleveland community to share their journey, philosophy, and advice for developing artists and DJs.
Over The Hump Open Decks connects individuals to a growing collective of mentors and peers dedicated to supporting curiosity, creativity, and growth in electronic music culture. We learn and grow best when we explore together.
