Caspari Foundation have developed our own outcomes measures - these were 'born' from the National Lottery funded EPIC and Groups work projects. We have adapted them for use with Caspari Therapeutic Teaching and also 121 EPT.
We are going to start gathering these questionnaire results on CTT and EPT from students this year to use the data for our evidence base. I will be emailing students about this soon.
Aside from these questionnaires, the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaires- SDQs, are also used frequently in CAMHS and other therapeutic services nationally.
Qualified EPTS working with Adoption Support Funded clients will have to make sure they are using outcomes measures as stipulated by the ASF. Next time post adoption support social workers apply for funding for therapy, one of the questions asked by the ASF will be about which outcomes measures are being used. The ASF have an approved list and EPTs will have to use one/s on that list. SDQ is on the list.
EPTS will need to be able to use outcomes measures and the data they create in their reports.
We have to have learning sessions on outcomes measures as part of the 4th year Adv Dip programme.
