Welcome to the very first official Ottawa Ukulele Social .
Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly Friday night at Wise Town Café (Elgin Street location) filled with music, community, and good vibes.
This isn’t a formal music class or intimidating jam session — it’s a welcoming space for adults who want to try something new, reconnect with music, meet people, and simply enjoy making music together.
Whether you’ve never touched a ukulele before or you’re looking for a fun social music night downtown, you are welcome here :-)
During the evening, we’ll:
🎸 learn 3 simple beginner chords
🎶 strum and sing along to familiar songs together
☕ enjoy cozy café atmosphere + community connection (can be purchased with the Cafe)
😊 keep things relaxed, supportive, and low-pressure
No musical experience is needed.
TICKET OPTIONS:
🎸 $35 — includes use of a ukulele for the evening
🎸 $25 — bring your own ukulele
Spots are intentionally limited to keep the experience comfortable and social.
This event also marks the beginning of the upcoming Ottawa Ukulele Social community and future fall beginner group classes launching later this year !
Come solo or bring a friend — either way, you’ll leave knowing a few chords, a few songs, and probably a few new people too.
