Ottawa Kitab Book Fair 2026 returns for its third edition on May 16 and 17, 2026, at Halls A & B, Nepean Sportsplex, Ottawa. The fair brings together Arabic-language publishers in Canada, book distributors, bookstores, readers, and families for a weekend centered on books, culture, and connection. Visitors can explore a wide range of titles across fiction, poetry, history, humanities, personal development, and children’s literature, alongside a literary and artistic program featuring talks, cultural conversations, poetry, and family-friendly activities. Inspired by the theme “We must therefore read,” the fair aims to strengthen the presence of the Arabic book in Ottawa and celebrate reading as a shared cultural experience.
