Raging Flowers is an indie pop three-piece band based in Auckland, New Zealand. Led by award-winning songwriter, Amy Shuang Wang, the group balances a soft, unassuming presence with a distinctly punk-driven attitude. Their music sits in the indie pop space while drawing from folk-punk, indie rock, jazz, and blues influences, creating a sound defined by emotional warmth, playful delivery, and sharp, clever lyricism.
The live lineup is completed by Micah Leota Lu on drums and Jordan Ellin on bass and keys, whose energy and musicianship bring a dynamic edge to their performances.
Raging Flowers’ music has received radio airplay across New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Poland. Their debut single, Can Someone I Love Love Me Please, appeared on the NZ RadioScope Alternative Airplay Chart. Their track Tissue Paper won First Prize in Out From The Mist 2024, an international arts competition focused on mental health awareness and themes of recovery and hope.
