Stuffed Foxes have been described as delving into the realms of psych, even shoegaze. However, the sextet remains firmly rooted in ROCK. Noise! Unearthed... First and foremost, they claim the 'derangement of all senses' with trance as a means of provocation. Blame it on their six members living in a community. Six distinct individuals concealed within a permissive whole, often subject to interpretation.
Their first album, 'Songs/Revolving,' is set for early 2022, and each time, it's an obvious revelation: the brilliance, the coherence, the absence of repetition, even rare lyrics against the instrumental illusion... And only a few months later, its mirror image, 'Songs/Motion Return,' is no exception.
The band is now ready to release their second LP, which will be out in December 2024 through Stolen Body Records.

An immersive psychedelic reverie!
This is what Huge Molasses Tank Explodes has to offer: A liquid continuity of landscapes, as envisioned by the minds of Fabrizio De Felice (voice, guitar, synth), Giacomo Tota (guitar), Luca Umidi (bass) and Gabriele Arnolfo (drums, now played by Michele Schiavina) in Milan, Italy.
Since their first self-titled album, released by Flying Kids Records in 2017, their music foreshadowed a psyched-out complexity built on DIY mindset, acid leanings and echoes of garage rock. But their style is a mansion built on krautrock foundations, whose walls are lined with shoegaze decorations with wide-open windows onto a cosmos of dark wave and modern pop.

This became evident in 2020 when, with their second album II, the formula was perfected and the band offered us a kaleidoscopic experience, ranging from rugged and evocative beats to dreamy soundscapes, inspired by post-punk and psych-wave.
Even if the pandemic hit hard, the band managed to ensure a devout following among the finest
connoisseurs of the Italian underground. Here they have racked up a huge amount of live shows and exciting new ideas. Waiting for the right time to reconnect the threads, HMTE expanded their palette and at the same time condensed their insights, pushing their sound to new heights.

That's where the brand-new album III comes in: the joyous return of a curious kid from outer space. With a hypnotic and almost serene sound in mind, transfiguring humanity with new electronic streaks and vocal blends, now the quartet has succeeded in creating ethereal, yet powerful, musical canvases that celebrate all their influences, taste and psychedelic vision. An album where you can dream of Neu!, Spacemen 3 and Tubeway Army blending together, with a contemporary take on riffs, rhythms and ambience, reminiscent of Beak>, Lumerians and Minami Deutsch.
