Ortho-Classical Acupuncture for TOS

***Attendees must hold a valid lisence to practice acupuncture**

In this seminar you will be to become familiar with identifying Thoracic Outlet Syndrome as well as related and similar periperhal neuropathies.

Over the course of two days, we will cover

• Regional anatomy and underlying biomechanics of the thoracic outlet and TOS
• Differential diagnostic skills including orthopedic special testing, visual and manual assessments, and pertinent TCM diagnotics.

• How to form accurate treatment plans based on a clear understanding of etiology and pathogenesis.

• A series of treatment strategies and methods for addressing both the commonly observed root and branch symptoms of TOS, as well as modifications for other neuropathic radiculopathies which may exhibit similar symptoms

• how to embed the anatomical understanding and pathomechanism of musculoskeletal medicine into the broader ecological systems-thinking of classical Jing Mai and Jing Jin medicine with the intent to align the understanding of TOS with TCM to allow for a more greater clarity of diagnosis, higher precision in clinical applications, leading to effective clinical outcomes.
