Dances from southern Egypt have had a significant presence in the stage dances of Egypt, and a considerable influence on Raqs Sharqi/orientale dance. This series will explore key elements and nuances that originate from the music and dances of the Sa’idi, through video, lecture, and lots of opportunities to practice the movement.Open to anyone who has taken at least 4 weeks of belly dance before or has done dance.
