You'll be amazed at the many and simple ways of giving your clothes new life, of reducing your clothing costs, and actively contributing to reducing the worldwide clothing waste mountains!
Tineswari (The Mindful Mender) says: "Come along to this workshop to learn how to rework your clothing to better suit you, or upcycle it into a utility item, child's toy or a fun gift. Please bring along your items that you'd like to work on. 2 sewing machines will be available on site, and plenty of hand sewing notions. Some sewing experience necessary (not suitable for complete beginners).
You may not be able to finish you project but you can definitely get started, and have lots of time to discuss ideas and get inspiration and also begin your projects at least."
✂️ The hui / workshop starts at 7.15 pm, please be a little early so we can make the most of the time
🧵 You are welcome to stay for some kai, kōrero and whakawhanaungatanga at the end.
