Dr. Michael Messina, Director of Music at Trinity Episcopal Church in Indianapolis, will perform Marcel Dupré's monumental "Stations of the Cross", op. 29 for organ. The performance will be accompanied by the projection of artistic images selected by art historian Lucy Winters Durkin, featuring a vast array of paintings, sculpture, and other depictions of Christ's Passion. In addition, the poems of Paul Claudel which inspired Dupré's work will be read in English by Judy Messenger.
The concert is free and open to the public; a free-will offering will be taken.
