City of Rochester Upstate MWBE Conference

The City of Rochester will be hosting the 3rd Annual Upstate MWBE Conference. It will be held March 31-April 2, 2025 at the Joseph Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center. This conference brings together MWBE businesses from the four (4) Upstate New York regions: Finger Lakes, Western New York, Central New York and the Southern Tier.

Aprroximately 300 people attended last year representing MWBE’s, community-based organizations and businesses from all four regions. This year, we are aiming to meet and or exceed attendance . We hope to include you in our attendance numbers.

The theme of this three-day event will be “Building Capcity Through Innovation and Equity”. Day one will kickoff with an interactive learning experience where we will explore a historical timeline of Rochester and hear from local icons past and present. Night one starts with a jazz reception and awards dinner with keynote speaker. MBE and WBE companies have been nominated from each region and the selected companies will receive awards. Day 2 will include three training sessions and a keynote luncheon. Day 3 is all about opportunity and networking and will include panel discussions and an Opportunity Expo of approximately 50 businesses representing a myriad of contract, funding and business opportunities.
