About this Event
If you have an interest in fruit tree pruning we'd love you to get involved in a new volunteer group - the Edible Tree Network. This winter The SCC Community forestry team will be hosting sessions for the group across six of Sheffield's best public orchards.
Work sessions will involve pruning and planting fruit trees to restore and improve these fantastic spaces, making them more beautiful, and more productive.
All tools and equipment will be provided, Bring a packed lunch!
Toilet and walfare facilities are not available on sites.
Experience welcomed but not required - help will be on hand. Sessions suitable for ages 16+, under 18's should attend with an adult.
Sessions run and insured by the SCC Community Forestry Team.
