This free, hands-on event introduces the Oracle APEX approach to modern web app development through a series of in-person sessions, presented by APEX PM and DEV team members and Oracle ACEs. Built for experienced developers new to APEX, it will help you deliver production-ready, data-driven solutions faster, that you can trust! — all while using Generative AI to speed up development and incorporating AI capabilities into your apps.

Building dynamic cloud, mobile and AI-powered apps for most any business purpose: Leverage the power of Oracle APEX and AI to create user-friendly apps that streamline business workflows and boost business productivity - all from within Oracle AI Database 26ai on Oracle’s AI Data Platform.
Hands-On experience during our Lunch & Learn session: We'll provide you with access to an APEX Workspace that includes an OCI Gen AI (LLM) service ready to go - bring your laptop! You will be able to continue to explore many Oracle APEX LiveLabs during and after the event, as you work to improve your valuable Oracle APEX skills.
Mastering essential APEX app dev concepts: Gain a solid foundation in the Oracle APEX approach to no-code and low-code development principles, even if you have no prior coding experience (these sessions will progress from introductory level throughout the day). Jayson Hanes
As Senior Principal Product Manager for APEX, Jayson Hanes is in his 7th year working at Oracle, and has been using APEX for many years. Jayson works closely with the core APEX product development team, and supports many internal Oracle LOB and external customer APEX development teams.
Jayson continuously endeavors to learn about customer-use cases and requirements to effectively better understand how to help shape future releases of APEX.
Greg Jarmiolowski
Gregory Jarmiolowski is a seasoned expert in Oracle APEX, boasting over 20 years of specialized experience. As a key member of the Oracle APEX team, he is dedicated to developing reference implementations, creating comprehensive training materials, and providing support to all Oracle-internal APEX developers on the implementation of the Redwood design system.
Throughout his career, Greg has been passionate about education, teaching courses at all levels in SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, and APEX, empowering others to harness the full potential of these powerful technologies. His extensive knowledge and commitment to excellence make him a valuable asset to the Oracle community.
Paige Hanssen
Paige Hanssen is a member of the Oracle APEX team where she contributes to APEX product development as well as APEX Strategic Projects. She has played a significant role in the development of several APEX features focusing on user experience, and has contributed to every APEX release since joining the team in 2021. She is also the author of the popular Movies Watchlist workshop, and has shared her expertise in several sessions of the APEX Office Hours as well as leading labs at Oracle AI World 2025. Paige has a bachelor's in Computer Science from Colby College, served two years as a collegiate volleyball coach, and continues to coach volleyball to this day.
Anton Nielsen
Vice President at Talan (formerly Insum Solutions), where he specializes in the Oracle technology stack with a particular focus on Oracle APEX. He brings over 30 years of experience spanning roles at Insum, C2 Consulting, Oracle, and the U.S. Air Force.
Anton graduated from the University of Chicago and pursued graduate studies in mathematics at Northeastern University. After graduate school, he served as a scientist and captain in the U.S. Air Force.
He was one of the original Oracle ACEs with expertise in APEX, PL/SQL, and database development. He is a frequent presenter at ODTUG events, Oracle OpenWorld, and other developer conferences, and previously founded C2 Consulting (Concept2Completion), which later joined forces with Insum. He has also participated as an expert tester and on design teams for Oracle products including Designer, Portal, Application Express, and JDeveloper.
Anton co-hosts "APEX Instant Tips," a weekly video series sharing practical Oracle APEX tips most Fridays. He is also an active blogger at apexdebug.com, writing about SQL performance, APEX best practices, and Oracle database techniques.
Karen Cannell
