After a summer break, Operate UKG is back. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 27th, as we dive deep into a night filled with raw UK Garage vibes: Speed Garage, 2-Step, 4x4, Breaks…
For this edition, we welcome special guest Buckley — a Manchester-based DJ and producer whose sound sits perfectly at the intersection of dark garage, dubstep, and percussion-driven bass music. A Rinse FM resident, Buckley’s productions have found a home on some of the most forward-thinking labels, including Instinct, ec2a, SPE:C, ATW, Dimeshift, and Gimme A Break.
We’re also honoured to host guests from Amsterdam’s esteemed That Garage Sound collective: Michael Pieterse and Paul Nonnis. Since 2019, they’ve championed the full spectrum of underground garage through their long-running club night, while Michael Pieterse has also been dropping some of the finest H&G tunes on various labels, including their own Rain or Shine imprint.
All of this, alongside Operate residents TMSN and Ben Mono, will take us on a journey through the many facets of UKG — from grit to grace — with a constant focus on the dancefloor.
