#OpenmicMonday is on! Every Monday at poetry, cocktail & soul food bar Labyrinth.We invite you to join the mic and speak your emotions, feelings and thoughts through the art of spoken word, poetry, story telling and music. Here you can experience the work of artists from all walks of life, while enjoying fabulous drinks and soul food.
Everybody is welcome, you can perform in any language you like. The host will guide the evening in English.
PLEASE READ the FAQ/Practicalities:
OpenMIicMonday is a popular night at Labyrinth, and exists since 2017, therefore we are often fully booked. So if you want to perform or not, make a reservation via www.labyrinthamsterdam.nl under the reservation button, to be sure of a seat, as full=full, because we don’t like to disappoint you at the door.
When you are not able to make a reservation, it means that we are already fully booked.
For the artists that want to be part of the line up, register yourself for the #openmic at 20:00 hours at Labyrinth with the host of the evening. The #OpenMic starts at 20:30 till 22:30 hrs. First come first serve. There are 16 spots available, and every artist has around 5 minutes to perform. Bring your own instrument, we have a mic and amp.
We don't accept any racism, sexisms, homophobia or hateful language.
Entrance is free but consumption of drinks is required, to keep it a free entrance event. We are open from 6pm to welcome
you at Labyrinth.
