Opening Receptions: Katherine Fraser // Alex Eckman-Lawn at Paradigm

Please join us as we celebrate the hard work and creativity of two artists that we have working with for over a decade and continue to evolve their practice. Both artists will be in attendance with opportunities to view and collect artwork from 3 floors of the Paradigm Arts Building.

Katherine Fraser: The Female Gaze

Although Fraser’s career has been hallmarked by her precise technical skills and an emphasis on storytelling, The Female Gaze launches a new chapter in her practice as she shifts her emphasis to emotional expression via figures in abstract environments. The exhibition encompasses several newly evolved facets of Fraser’s practice, from new painting methods to a more playful and intuitive approach to her compositions.

Alex Eckman-Lawn: BODY

Known for his imaginative layered collages, Alex Eckman-Lawn has spent years cultivating a distinct visual vocabulary throughout his studio and commercial work. In BODY, Eckman-Lawn showcases his curated motifs and storytelling skills in a cohesive narrative inspired by events from his childhood.
