Les Arts Florissants returns to Toronto for a breathtaking performance that tells the story of Orpheus’s descent into the underworld to rescue his lover, Euridice, from the grasps of Pluto, the god of the underworld. In addition to this powerful journey, the ensemble also performs their namesake work, Les arts florissants, celebrating the radiant spirit and expressive brilliance that have defined them for decades.
