Agenda

🕑: 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Unraveling George
Host: Mike Tollin

Info: “Unraveling George” introduces a beloved and hugely admired but mostly anonymous man to the world. Narrated by Marlon Wayans, who plays George in the celebrated movie AIR, this documentary traces the remarkable journey of Hall of Fame basketball coach George Raveling, who considers himself more of a teacher and a mentor than a coach. Raveling has guided the careers of a stunning array of all-stars in his decorated career, and the extraordinary cast in the film is testament to Raveling’s enormous influence. Charles Barkley is an Executive Producer and Michael Jordan says simply, “Michael Jordan would not be Michael Jordan without George Raveling!”

🕑: 07:30 PM - 09:00 PM
Open Book: The Scandal That Shook Up College Basketball
Host: Fresh Focus Sports

Info: After an NCAA scandal and time in federal Pr*son, former basketball coach Book Richardson returns to his Bronx roots, determined to find redemption and uplift a new generation through the game he loves. Produced by two Emmy Award winners from Fresh Focus Sports, Anthony Kuzviwanza and Thanasis Petrakis, this feature documentary captures Book’s powerful comeback story. Filmed just eight months after his release in 2020, Open Book follows his journey of rebuilding his life and purpose as he coaches 8th grade basketball for the legendary Gauchos program in the South Bronx — proving that resilience, redemption, and impact never fade.
