About this Event
Join Silver Seas Yachts for one of the Pacific Northwest’s most cherished maritime traditions — Opening Day at the Seattle Yacht Club.
Since 1920, Opening Day has marked the official start of the boating season in Seattle, bringing together thousands of boaters and spectators to celebrate the region’s deep connection to life on the water. The highlight of the day is the famous boat parade through the Montlake Cut, where beautifully decorated vessels cruise between Lake Washington and Lake Union in one of Seattle’s most iconic waterfront events.
Silver Seas Yachts customers and friends are invited to join us for a day of community, tradition, and boating camaraderie as we gather on the water alongside fellow captains and boating enthusiasts from across the region.
Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the festivities, watch the parade of boats, and connect with members of the Silver Seas Yachts community as we celebrate the start of another great season on the water.
Let us know you’re coming and we’ll share details about where the Silver Seas fleet will gather during the event.
Whether you’re participating by boat or watching from shore, Opening Day is a true Pacific Northwest boating tradition you won’t want to miss.
