KÖNIG GALERIE is pleased to present two solo exhibitions by Ayako Rokkaku and Bijanka Bacic, unfolding across the Nave and Chapel of St. Agnes.
In the Nave, Ayako Rokkaku presents SCENERY IN THE PROCESS OF BEING FORMED, featuring new paintings and sculptures shaped through instinctive, hands-on processes. Drawing on impressions from shifting landscapes and daily encounters, she allows materials to accumulate and settle into form with quiet immediacy.
In the Chapel, Bijanka Bacic presents THE WANDERING DOT, a series of paintings that treat the mark as a moving, evolving element. Beginning with film photographs and flowing through gouache into layered oil, she guides lines that drift, obscure, and reappear, creating images that hover between clarity and dissolution.
